As a Tax Analyst Transfer Pricing, you will be a member of the Spanish Tax team focused on Transfer Pricing compliance matters of the global Novartis Tax network, in alignment with OECD BEPS (Base Erosion and Profit Shifting) requirements and local documentation peculiarities of different jurisdiction.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Support the global TP documentation and TP compliance preparation process according to OECD BEPS requirements and ensure timely TP report finalization by using technical doc writer tools.

• Gather central and local information to complete TP documentation reports, i.e. FTE data, market analysis, intercompany transaction volumes, segmentation of P&L data, etc.

• Timely identification of changes in TP local legislations and / or regulations that can affect the TP documentation preparation process. Propose possible solutions and improvements.

• Support the preparation of local TP forms to be submitted to local Tax authorities in collaboration with local Finance and Tax teams.

• Work closely with operational TP (Funds Flow) teams to document local target profitability in accordance with the function and risk profile and latest TP Benchmarks.

• Maintain the TP database or other TP writer tools with regard to TP documentation reports, including supporting documents (agreements, financial statements, local TP forms, etc.)

• Support project management, project organization and maintain general administrative tasks and processes related to the Global Transfer Pricing (TP) documentation project.

• Provide required documentation to the wider Tax team for TP audit support in country.

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Law.
• At least 1 year of experience in a big 4 firm or law firm in corporate tax and/or in-house TP management role.
• Very good understanding of OECD TP regulations pre- and post BEPS.
• Good accounting knowledge IFRS/local statutory.
• Strong organizational skills and communication skills.
• Fluency in English is a must, Spanish and other languages are an advantage.
