The Biopharmaceuticals business unit is a critical driver of Sandoz’s mid-term success. The purpose of this role is to support Head of Strategy and Portfolio within Sandoz Biopharmaceuticals to lead the portfolio vision, manage the governance in building the portfolio through asset review and selection; and support strategic activities to build and maximise portfolio.

Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Prepare Portfolio strategy focused information e.g. country, or TA views etc
• Lead the digitalization of Portfolio Management to transform Bio Portfolio relevant business processes into SANITY
• Support Head of Portfolio & Strategy in delivering against special requests (Strategy refresh, communication material for meetings,....)

As part of the team, your position may include elements of the following:
• Drive portfolio selection process on annual basis, managing a cross-functional evaluation of assets, coordinating internal stakeholders, and building compelling insights that enable go/no-go decisions
• Manage governance (pre- and post- meeting) for bi-annual full portfolio review meetings with senior Biophara Executive leadership presence
• Support efforts relating to portfolio projects and initiatives, including the development and update of tools such as POS, tracking, reporting, oversight of business cases, development status, value development (LoE, markets, etc.), and Portfolio / BU risks etc.
• Lead development and advancement of Portfolio metrics / KPIs, and portfolio reports including risks and dates and ensure out of cycle updates are captured. Raise visibility of cross-program topics, at Portfolio level, and develop / contribute to reports to senior management
• Track portfolio decision making and asset selection / keep, stop, start decisions including contracts with external partners affecting portfolio decisions, BD&L decisions, and so on

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• Several years industry experience in pharma or live sciences with in-depth experience of leading and managing analytic processes
• Project management skills to digest and use scientific material
• Ability to work cross functional
• Good communication skills to interact with senior internal stakeholders, and be able to facilitate meetings and projects
• Strong analytical capabilities to build a business case including scientific, environmental, market, and financial content
• Fluency to work with Microsoft Office, previous experience with Sanity an advantage
• English language fluency (written and spoken)
• Scientific degree, with MS or MBA a plus
• Ideally experience in commercial and portfolio
