This role requires the ability to manage large volumes of data, have excellent Excel skills, good analytical skills, and clear and decisive communication between customer, coworkers, and management. Senior Rebate Analyst must have the ability to work independently, the ability to multi-task, must be organized, detail oriented, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Key Responsibilities
• The Senior Rebate Analyst is responsible for the timely and accurate analysis and processing of all assigned rebate payments, including the reconciliation of discrepancies for Sandoz external customers.
• Responsible for processing customer payment incentives per terms & conditions set forth in written, signed agreements between customer and Sandoz Pharmaceuticals, Inc., analyzing contract terms prior to signatures and identifying/resolving disputed items with customers.
• Provides rebate support to customers with complex rebate terms & conditions, including admin fees or volume rebates with qualifications.
• Responds to complex customer inquiries.
• Performs activities to pay customer incentives in a timely manner.
• Collects and analyzes required payment calculation data.
• Partners with customers, Directors of National Accounts, Accounts Receivable Analysts, Contracts Analysts and Financial Reporting to resolve issues.
• Seeks ways to re-engineer Rebate process to best-in-class practices.
• Performs reconciliation of open Accounts Receivable items in conjunction with A/R personnel.
• Provide support to customers for any disputes of rebates paid.
• Identify root cause of issues with discrepancies and recommend corrective action to eliminate future occurrences and reduce outstanding rebate deduction balance.
• Meet all compliance related requirements, including any audit requests, SOX requirements, and adherence to all policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to, reduction of aging fees and maintenance of Rebate Tracker or maintaining other metric related tools.
• Detail oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize workflow with minimal supervision must have good follow-up skills.
• Provide leadership to the other associates on the rebate team.

Minimum Requirements

Education:
-BA/BS in Business Administration/ Accounting/Finance or Related

Experience:
- 3+ year(s)’ experience in accounting, finance or related field
- Strong understanding of financial processes and systems; outstanding knowledge of data analysis data mining tools including data warehouse applications, SAP, MS Excel and other query and reporting tools
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, self-starter
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
