Your responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Develop the automation roadmap for the functional streams, working closely with the Master Data Operations and Project team. Participate in the development of and/or review of standards, documentation and methods of working with automation
• Responsible for ensuring that a clear automation governance is put in place and agreed with the functional streams in order to better scope the service. Make recommendations on how to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and delivery of services through use of (emerging) technology and technical methods and methodologies
• Execute all master data changes within the system of record (e.g. SAP), ensuring creation and maintenance of finance related R2R / O2C data objects, attributes and hierarchies as required. Ensure all necessary data is available, accurate and compliant, meeting the data standards defined by the Global Finance Master Data Management central team
• Ensure information supplied in the change request is complete and accurate per type of object and complies with the Global Master Data Management processes and related SOPs. Apply the knowledge, tools, template and forums provided by the Finance Master Data central team to execute MDM to high standards
• Maintain process documentation for master data objects and share processes and technical knowledge and best practices openly to other team members, locally and globally. Ensure that any guidelines, enhancements to existing procedures and escalation paths are properly followed for the execution of master data management activities
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for related Master data automation and related processes. Deliver services at expected levels with a clear customer focus. Interact proactively with all functional areas of the NGSC to ensure appropriate master data management activities are accomplished
• Proactively challenge the status quo and comes up with making fact-based recommendations to drive continuous improvement. Escalate data issues (process and/or technical) and conduct data impact assessments to ensure data quality is maintained to agreed standards.
• Work in conjunction with technical teams to resolve any technical related issue that affects master data integrity and processes. Ensure compliance with Company Accounting Manual and Financial Controls Manual and regulatory requirements

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

• 4+ years of in-depth finance functional expertise with exposure to Master Data Management
• 6+ years in automation field, focusing on scripting and coding, including 3+ years of experience in design and development of automation frameworks and automation strategies for large scale applications
• Experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams. Experience in managing projects driving performance improvements. Good understanding of RPA tools
• University level degree in Business Administration / Economics / Finance or Chartered Accountant / Technology-related Engineering / MBA desirable
• Fluent in English both written and spoken
