Job Description

-To lead the Rewards discipline within a mid-sized organization or lead a specialized activity in the implementation of the Rewards strategy, and policy designed to attract, retain and reward high performing associates.
-Contribute to the development of a country/regional remuneration and/or benefits strategy.
-Implement and adapt regional remuneration and/or benefits strategy in the country
-Provide counsel and recommendations on internal and external benchmarking, pay practices
and incentive plans.
-Select, implement and manage effective and efficient administration of compensation and/or
benefit programs and processes for employee hiring, retention and motivation.
-Manage cross-divisional coordination of benefits and selected remuneration programs at
country level.
-Manage the participation to compensation surveys, conduct competitive market analysis and
ensure benchmarking of relevant country roles.
-Manage the budget/resource allocation for the area of responsibility.
-Develop and deliver training and consulting to the country organization on any
Rewards-related programs & processes (e.g. GJFA, benefits, salary round).
-Manage the performance and talent development of direct reports and contribute to talent
development of indirect reports (<100 employees)
-Manage various Rewards projects.
Design an develop integrated Rewards/P&Oanalytics to back up compensation decisions.
-Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to
Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt
-Distribution of marketing samples (where applicable)

Experience/Professional requirement:  Minimum 5 years of experience in Compensation and
 Familiar with working in a complex, matrix environment with continuous change and occasionally conflicting priorities
