As the Ethics, Risk, and Compliance (ERC) Manager you will collaborate with the Head of ERC to deliver the ERC Programs that require day-to-day operational management of compliance queries, effective compliance partnering with businesses, and cross-functional collaboration with other departments and units to strengthen risk intelligence and risk oversight.



Your responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Proactive risk management focusing on key compliance risk areas (third party risk management, interaction with Health Care Professionals, Anti-Bribery, external funding activities, etc.);
• Supporting the establishment of local ERC standards based on internal policies and guidelines (Code of Ethics, Conflicts of Interests, SpeakUp, Anti-Bribery, Professional Practices Policy, etc.). Ensures that requirements of local laws and regulations, including ABBI Code are embedded in processes and followed.
• Trusted business partner: advise businesses on compliance-related topics and on compliance aspects of major business initiatives, and supports the Head of ERC in compliance advisory – providing support to business units, brand managers, sales force, and medical teams.
• Actively follow compliance trends in the market, including business practices.
• Champions speak-up, transparency, and a culture of integrity throughout the organization.
• Leads local ERC projects.
• Prepares presentations and reports.
• Superuser of the ERC-owned approval tools.
• Delivers ERC training to Sandoz associates.
• Supports the ERC Head with other compliance tasks and initiatives.
• Take part in Global / Regional projects as required.

Desirable requirements:

• Education: College / University Degree (economics, business administration, finance, law, chartered accountant)
Experience and Knowledge
• +7 years of work experience in a reputable consulting firm, or in a pharmaceutical or healthcare industry with relevant exposure to compliance risk management, risk advisory, and/or risk assurance.
• Strong project management skills - leading compliance projects.
• Broad experience in risk assessment/risk management/risk governance.
• Proven experience in collaborating within a sophisticated cross-functional, cross-cultural, multinational matrix environment.
• Strong advisory and business partnering record.
