Job Purpose:
The Respiratory Virtual Customer Experience Sales Specialist (RVCES) will help build the new custodial approach to meeting customer needs in a virtual market. The Respiratory Virtual Customer Experience Sales Specialist will provide a primary point of contact and seamless customer approach to Health care providers and their team members (Register Nurses, Biologic Coordinators and Medical Assistants).

This is a remote opportunity.

Your Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Area Business Leaders and Customer Experience Specialists to create and execute business plans while ethically and compliantly driving achievement of sales targets for assigned area, customers, or therapeutic area.
• Successfully deliver a seamless approach to healthcare providers (HCPs).
• Develop effective professional business relationships with customers and deliver a seamless customer experience, including clinical message delivery, use of Omni-channel marketing tools and education on access and reimbursement.
• Engage with a targeted list of customers and use virtual outreach using channels like ClearSlide/Veeva to educate through clinical discussions on appropriate patient identification, and the reimbursement process.
• Provide call coverage to the targeted customers in the corresponding geography.
• Makes effective use of available technologies, marketing assets and channels to support sales calls.
• Deploys and uses approved marketing and sales promotional materials and programs, runs virtual promotional programs and facilitates pull-through activities.

Minimum Requirements

What You’ll Bring to the Role:
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Four (4) or more years’ experience in patient services, reimbursement and/or sales calling on HCPs with respect to a complex product.
• Ability to work in a virtual mode, with demonstrated success in a matrix environment working with cross-functional team members.
• Ability to address customer questions regarding the distribution model.
• Demonstrated ethical leadership and ability to foster an environment that promotes ethical behavior and compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
• This is a virtual and remote position. No travel required. This position will cover Key Accounts in the assigned region. The Region includes Indianapolis, Grand Rapids, Flint, Detroit, Louisville, St Louis, Joliet, and Cincinnati.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in the respiratory therapeutic area preferred.
• Experience using current technology (ClearSlide/Veeva or equivalent digital platform) preferred.
• Self-starter with analytic abilities to seek out, prioritize, and apply relevant information to solve complex problems.

Hiring Guidelines:
The position will be filled at level commensurate with experience.

Respiratory Virtual Sales Specialist:
• Internal: Novartis sales associate with previous sales experience.
• External: 4+ years' experience in patient services, reimbursement and/or sales calling on HCP's.
Respiratory Senior Virtual Sales Specialist:
• Internal: Novartis sales associate with previous sales experience.
• External: 6+ years' experience in patient services, reimbursement and/or sales calling on HCP's.
