Purpose of the role:
The Director of Operations Biopharmaceuticals will support the Head of Biopharmaceuticals in driving and implementing governance within the Business Unit, as well as their presentation/interactions with internal and external stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Organizing and moderating monthly Biopharma Executive Committee (BEC) meetings
• Managing the BEC Bold and Near-Term objectives including quarterly progress tracking
• Structuring presentation content for the Bio BU Head representation at the Sandoz Executive Committee meeting and other key internal forums
• Managing and moderating topics for weekly General Management meetings
• Leading the content preparation process for quarterly IR & meet the management events
• Organizing and managing the Enterprise Risk Management process for the Bio unit
• Managing the amalgamation of key Bio policy positions emerging across regions
• Ownership of the Governance model for Bio with annual health checks on effectiveness/simplification
• Ad hoc operations work for general management purposes

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• Business and/or science background and degree is required. MD, science PhD or MBA with a focus in consultancy, marketing or equivalent experience is desirable
• Minimum 10yrs pharma industry expertise, preferably in specialty
• Experience in complex matrix environments
• Mature matrix leadership skills
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to align interests of multiple parties, and to be adaptable in a new and evolving area of the business
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
