The Biopharmaceuticals business unit is a critical driver of Sandoz’s mid-term success. You will lead the New Products Team and maximize the value of internal and external new Biopharma pipeline products. You will be part of a key group of leaders who drive the overall Biopharma strategy and will play a crucial role in our portfolio choices, and BD&L assessments. You will also drive the agenda of interactions at senior levels, working in partnership with Development and Regulatory, BD&L, Legal, and the Regions amongst others

Your Key Responsibilities:
• Commercial Leadership for Global Product Teams (GPTs) with Commercial evaluation and planning of biosimilar GPT projects including, based on deep customer insights, and market intelligence
• Contribute towards specific target product profile selection and commercial rational
• Commercial Leadership For BD&L Opportunity Evaluation, including input into target selection, regional checkpoints, and commercial representation with senior leadership
• Process and system development for commercial evaluations; and continuous improvement of governance processes to facilitate the team’s input
• Build cross-divisional collaborations, as per strategic need, to realize synergies from knowledge sharing to portfolio choices
• Build internal knowledge and provide recommendations for portfolio strategy
• Lead New Product Planning team, supporting skill development, and a collaborative and continuous learning mindset

Minimum Requirements

What you'll bring to the role:
• Scientific degree, with MS or MBA as a strong plus
• English (spoken and written fluency); knowledge of other languages a plus
• 10+ years industry experience, with strong experience in early commercial as plus
• Leadership experience of a team of direct reports and demonstrated ability to facilitate cross-functional and cross-divisional work, to align interests of multiple parties, and to be adaptable in a new and evolving area of the business.
• Disease area experience in at least one of those areas: Oncology or Immunology.
• Strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to bridge marketing and science.
