Associate Specialist (m/f/d), Sandoz Development Center, Kundl, Tyrol, Austria

100+ of incoming or outgoing sample shipments processed yearly thus supporting the development team in bringing the novel products to the patients.

Your key responsibilities:

To plan and perform administrative activities as part of the metrology team to maintain the infrastructure of the DPH department, which includes:
• Management of the department storage area and the associated activities (sample shipments, incoming goods receipts, labeling, storage, inventory)
• Management of the training matrices and the training system (e.g. UP4Growth)
• Ordering of office supplies, laboratory consumables, solvents, gases, reference standards, RLDs and APIs
• Paper binder management, postal services, travel organization, time recordings.
• Overview of the list of laboratory journals/logbooks and employee signature list, support of audits

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential:
• Completed apprenticeship or technical school as chemical laboratory technician, chemical process technician or similar or alternatively completed apprenticeship as administrative assistant, office clerk or similar; completed technical school /high school for commercial professions
• Experience on administration related activities, with understanding of the technical and factual background, and built customer and quality orientation
• Intermediate knowledge of electronic data processing and standard software packages (Office)
• Good documentation skills
• Knowledge of U4G and SAP, TrackWise is advantageous
• German: native language or fluent spoken and written and English: basic knowledge (secondary school level)

Desirable requirements:
• Knowledge of instrumental chemical analysis and laboratory software systems is advantageous
• Focus on task delivery and customer satisfaction
• Open and friendly attitude, teamwork
• Multitasking, flexibility and adaptability to change of workplace priorities
• Prioritizes, decides and makes things happen with urgency

In accordance with Austrian law, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary as stated in the collective bargaining agreement. For this position the minimum salary is € 37,756.32 /year (on a full time basis). We also offer a potential market oriented excess payment in line with your experience and qualifications.
