Job Description

Sandoz develops, manufactures and markets off-patent medicines, so called generics and biosimilars. Your responsibilities:

• Provides program/project management expertise to the GPTs driving planning excellence, monitoring and execution of plans, and cross- functional alignment of coordinated DDPP strategy and goals (incl. support or lead of cross-functional sub-teams and task forces)

• Attends all core team meetings, develops agendas, moderates meetings and provides clear and accurate meeting minutes

• Contributes to the recording of identified action items and collaborating closely with Global Program Team Members (GPTMs) on follow-up activities and deliverables

• Leads day-to-day operations of the DDPP

• Responsible for ensuring aligned DDPP plans (including scenarios) are complete and accurately reflected in the enterprise planning system and works with nominated work package owners/managers to reflect specific project activities, incorporating schedule and resources

• Responsible to challenge schedules and financial forecasts provided by work package owners/managers, in order to establish accurate aligned DDPP plans; enabling efficient execution of the approved strategy

• Responsible with Finance to assemble and supervise DDPP financial forecasts; and for timely flagging and communication of variances/deviations with accompanying rationale to the GPT

• Drives risk assessment by supporting the GPT in the identification of operational and strategic risks and facilitates the related mitigation and contingency planning

• Drives and/or coordinates development of strategic documents (incl. board meeting presentations / communications to management) and prepares for phase transitions/tollgates in collaboration with the Global Program Team

• Builds trusting relationships with GPT members and partners with the GPH in fostering a psychological safe environment in the GPT

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Masters or Doctorate in life sciences/chemistry or Bachelor of Science
• 4+ years in the industry paired with 3+ years or equivalent multi-/cross functional team experience
• Demonstrated track record of success working on an international multidisciplinary drug development team, preferably in a sophisticated matrix environment in the development of biosimilars
• Knowledge of drug development process
• Expert planning and tracking skills, with the ability to capture details and summarize across GPT/program
• Knowledge of resource (forecast and headcount) planning and management
• Well organized, focused on results, capable of managing multiple projects, excellent time management skills with respect to priorities and self-management
• Fluent English (oral and written)
