The Global Drug Development (GDD) organization oversees the development of new medicines discovered by our researchers and partners. We transform the lives of people by developing innovative and life-changing medicines.

The Warehouse Associate II is responsible for receiving, sampling, storing, issuing and shipping materials.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Receives all materials that come into the facility.
• Works with the supply chain team to ensure inventory levels are accurate and materials are stored in the appropriate locations, including organizing the warehouse in accordance with appropriate systems and processes.
• Locates and stores all inventory items in the ERP system and physically locate them.
• Works with Production and Labs for materials that are required and need to be issued out.
• Ships all materials out of the facility. This includes hazmat shipments, export shipments and temperature sensitive shipments.
• Remain current on all training and shipping regulations.
• Completes inventory cycle counts to maintain current inventory accuracy.
• Organizes the warehouse and outside of the POD manufacturing area. Examples include KANBAN processes and waste streams.
• Supports all manufacturing activities at the site.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

What you'll bring to the role:

• H.S. Diploma; A.S. degree is preferred.
• 1 year of pharmaceutical warehouse material handling experience.
•  Solid communication and organizational skills, detail oriented.
• Must be physically able to lift and move materials (up to 50 lbs.) safely.
• Must work well in a team setting. Must maintain a professional work environment.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.

Preferred Skills:
• Prior experience with KANBAN system preferred.
• Must be forklift certified.
