500 million+, this is the number of patients treated with a Sandoz medicine globally. A division of Novartis, Sandoz is a global leader in generic and biosimilar medicines is looking for a Brand Manager who will make an impact within a key Business Unit within Sandoz UK.

The Primary Care Business Unit is responsible for Sandoz originator growth brands and currently has a focus on Respiratory and Pain treatments. The Brand Manager for Pain and Established Brands will be responsible for both pipeline established brands as well those recently launched and in early phase growth.

We are looking to recruit an experienced, hardworking, and curious marketer who will join our cross-functional launch team.

As a Brand Manager in this team, you will work at the forefront of customer engagement & marketing innovation, whilst collaborating closely with your colleagues in Sales, Market Access, Medical and Commercial Excellence. This role will both lead projects and be an individual contributor on many of the critical workstreams that span across the launch process. The focus on digital omnichannel customer engagement is vital and you will have the opportunity to stretch and apply your creativity and imagination.

Your responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Work as part of a collaborative launch team to execute the brands strategy. You will deliver both promotional & non-promotional campaigns, tactics, and activities as part of a customer engagement team.
•Manage end-to-end development of relevant, useful, and practical content; developed with a customer-in mindset
•Responsible for the delivery of digital marketing tactics, particularly the Omnichannel plan and support of the customer facing team.
•Regularly engage with key customer groups and use these interactions to identify actionable insights and opportunities that support the success of the program & brand
•End-to-end management of complex events; including large congresses, speaker events and online webinar/webcast meetings
•You will need to deliver outstanding project management and governance across all of your projects, both within marketing team and across the cross-functional team
•Monitor product/launch performance and the external environment, using appropriate tools and taking corrective action if required to meet business objectives & KPIs
•Responsible for managing a marketing budget alongside other members of the brand management and cross-functional team

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
•Minimum 2 years’ experience in a marketing role within the UK Pharmaceutical Industry particularly launching new treatments into both primary and hospital specialist sectors
•Experience of dealing with the needs of NHS Commissioners and prescribing budget holders
•Strong knowledge and understanding of the NHS and Healthcare Systems (HCS), with experience working on projects where you have partnered or collaborated with the HCS
•Previous experience working in a customer facing role OR the ability to demonstrate project work where NHS customer relationships have been critical
•The ability to demonstrate a technical understanding of digital marketing and have some experience of web design and build, email marketing, UX & UI & targeted advertising
•Experience working in the Pain and Respiratory disease areas.
•Strong attention to detail and organised, with demonstrable project management skills and capability
• A strong communicator and be able to evidence this; equally you’ll be able to evidence excellent stakeholder management in complex settings
•Capable at developing concise management/project reports with an aptitude for MS PowerPoint & Excel
•Strong understanding of ABPI code of practice.

Desirable requirements:
•Experience working as a Sales or Medical Representative
•Knowledge & experience of agile ways of working
•Former experience of launching a medicine
