HSE Lead (f/m/d), SDC, Kundl, Austria

40! new development projects and 6 new molecules per year at SDC Kundl. As HSE Lead you will be responsible for the general and project-related implementation of HSE specifications within SDC Kundl in a matrix organization. Join our team as the HSE Lead!

Your key responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Provide and maintain site policy, regulations and guidelines to fulfil statutory and Company requirements
• Have budget control capability and input into HSE budget preparation and monitoring
• Take responsibility for the management of specific HSE business processes
• Perform regular HSE self inspections and follow-up activities
• Represent the SDC in HSE Audits and implement HSE Audit follow-up activities within agreed budget and timeframe
• Plan, develop and implement process safety, risk management and environmental management policies, procedures and protocols

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential:
• Academic degree in Natural sciences
• Fluent in verbal and written English and German
• 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in pharmaceutical/chemical industry
• Good knowledge of HSE requirements and experience in safety, health and environmental protection
• Experience in handling local government agencies and permitting/licensing processes

Desirable requirements:
• Education as Sicherheitsfachkraft or the willingness to undergo this education
• Experience in multicultural environment, paired with excellent communication skills

For this position the minimum salary is € 52.204,04/year (on a full time basis).
