As a member of the Global Technical Talent Acquisition (TA) organization, these positions will be responsible for attracting and hiring top talent for all Novartis companies which it supports. This role will be functionally aligned with a focus on building functional depth and talent market knowledge for a particular guild within technical hiring in areas such as Data Science & Analytics, Cybersecurity and IT.

The purpose of the role is to translate business needs into effective and efficient talent acquisition strategies.

This role requires working with Technical/IT cross-functional, cross-divisional and cross-geographies teams in evolving the technology offerings to ensure that the solution meets the business outcomes.

This opportunity is ideally located in New Jersey and/or Massachusetts and may not have the ability to be located fully remotely.

What you will be responsible for (non-exhaustive list) ?

• Full end-to-end responsibility for management and drive of appropriate sourcing, assessment, selection and pre-on boarding strategies for US-based IT roles
• Partner with IT leaders to deeply understand their hiring needs and consequently develop recruiting strategies in alignment with their divisional (global and/or US) unit goals
• Conduct preliminary interviews with passive and/or active candidates to gauge interest, skills and salary requirements
• Act as champion for crafting exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences
• Reflect and iterate on the hiring process to improve efficiency, quality of assessment, and ability to close candidates
• Run all aspects of the Applicant Tracking System, including, but not limited to: entering requisitions, posting jobs, managing candidate flow, submitting offers and closing out all jobs and candidates as needed.
• Pro-actively participate in campaigns (D&I events, career fairs, talent engagement etc...) promoting and developing the Novartis Brand
• Participate in ad-hoc HR/TA projects

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role ?
• 5+ years of experience recruiting technology and IT professionals in a fast-paced innovative environment (agency or corporate environments)
• Proven track record of sourcing and recruiting technical talent
• Takes a problem-solving approach when faced with challenging or difficult situations
• Experienced in establishing and cultivating relationships; able to collaborate effectively with key stakeholders and partners across the organization
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and handle multiple projects and tasks
• Ability to analyze problems, identify alternative solutions and implement recommendations for resolution
• Uses diverse and varied approaches to persuade, negotiate and influence operational decisions

Preferred
• Experience using applicant tracking systems (Brassring and Avature)
• Cross-divisional, cross-geographies and/or cross-functional TA experience
• Previous experience in designing D&I talent acquisition strategies
• International/Domestic Relocation support is not available. Ideally, candidate will be located in NJ/NY/PA tristate area and/or Massachusetts if needs to commute to site in future. Hybrid work flexibility is on offer however if applying from outside these states, we cannot guarantee at present that full remote setup may be available.
