Human Factors Engineering Intern (f/m/d), Schaftenau, Tyrol, Austria

16! The number of team members you will work with within the Human Factors Engineering team to ensure the optimal paediatric drug delivery system design to meet the needs of our paediatric patients.

Your key responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Lead literature research concerning pediatric user requirements, limitations, known user problems...etc.
• Support Human Factors (HFE) activities in finding an optimal pediatric design(s) for a drug delivery system
• Support activities necessary for issuing Human Factors deliverables (User profile and capabilities, known use problems, complaints, task analysis,..etc.)
• Support development of user requirements and their translation into design inputs based on user capabilities
• Support risk management activities like risk management planning, identification of use-related hazards & development of use-related risk analysis
• Support formative evaluations with external vendors
• Develop clinical / commercial IFU / training materials in collaboration with cross-functional design team

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• Current student enrolled in an accredited university
• Ability to commit to a 4-6 month internship program on a full-time basis
• Willingness to learn from others on the job and inside a specific team
• Curiosity to explore different functions and unique roles

Desirable requirements:
• Prior internship or co-op experience in medical device or in the pharmaceutical industry
• Ability to demonstrate and excel in Quality, Innovation, Performance, Collaboration, Courage and Integrity in a cross-matrix team environment

In accordance with Austrian law, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary as stated in the collective bargaining agreement. For this position we offer a gross salary of €976.22 per month. Any additional payments can be issued on an ad-hoc basis.
