Process Team Lead (f/m/d), Kundl, Tyrol, Austria

1! It’s our endeavor to become the number one ranked partner when it comes to microbial drug substance manufacturing worldwide. Your new unit will be a protein or pDNA production line utilizing the power of microbial cells.


Your key responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Leads Production Line for E2E manufacturing of Nucleic acids or purification of recombinant proteins out of microbial expression systems
• Delivers high quality products to Novartis supply chain customers as well as external customers in a manner that is efficient, cost effective and compliant with GMP regulations.
• Manages production of drug substance in accordance to time, amount, quality and cost aspects
• Fulfills targets and monitors KPIs for the production line
• Acts as “Herstellungsleiter” according to AMBO
• Acts as subject matter expert for production processes and facilities and as a leadership role model with strong focus on people development
• Acts as system owner of all systems allocated to respective facility and as a change control owner/coordinator
• Supports Deviation Investigations and OpEx initiatives

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential:
• Academic degree in natural sciences (MSc or above)
• Minimum of 3 years managerial experience in an operational environment, pharmaceutical GMP production or development environment
• Relevant experience in fermentation and/or purification highly desirable
• Ability and willingness to work in a dynamic environment
• Good knowledge of Office and other standard applications
• Fluency in German and English

In accordance with Austrian law, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary as stated in the collective bargaining agreement. For this position the minimum salary is €63,388.92 per year (on a full-time basis). The actual salary will be significantly higher, as we strive to maintain a competitive position in the market and consider your previous experience, qualifications and individual competencies.
