Job Description

An outstanding opportunity within the function that a communications and engagement associate would be positioned in actively own, lead, shape and drive communications strategies that lend towards creating strategic impact for the Enterprise.
The Communications Manager will strategically support the business by driving creating an active communications & engagement ecosystem which amplifies key narratives, to support NVS MY country priorities; at an Enterprise and Division level in order to shape and enhance reputation by building shared value with patients, customers, society and positioning Novartis Malaysia as a thought leader for today and in the future.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• To provide professional advice, support and coordinate activities/relations for a particular area of Communications
• Coordinate and provide specialist knowledge in a specific area of communications.
• Act as a strategic partner to the business, and create and support implementation of communications strategies in own area of expertise.
• Supervise the implementation of consistent internal and external communications plans.
• Supervise the implementation of assigned project or communications activity.
• Build relationships with and counsel senior Business Partners and /or senior Communications colleagues.
• Manage agencies and other external vendors to secure maximum return on investment, operational excellence and business impact.
• Use and coordinate available communications resources to achieve required results by ensuring effective deployment of project information /materials.
• Lead, coach and mentor a small team and coordinate education of Communications colleagues and Business Partners across communications

Minimum Requirements

What you‘ll bring to the role:
• Ability to work and lead (a cross-functional team) in a matrix environment
• Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) Malay and English
• Involvement to Social Channels (e.g. Yammer, Twitter, LinkedIn) Digital Channels (e.g. Intranet, Internet, Videos)
• Bachelors/Masters of Communication, Bachelors/Masters of Psychology
• With at the least minimum of 5 years experience to the same field.
