Responsible for supporting the overall relationship and entire book of business for an assigned group of vendor(s) accounts that are providing services – hub, co-pay, adherence, free goods, digital, etc. – to the Patient & Specialty Services organization. This candidate requires strong collaboration and negotiation skills to help manage internal (larger PSS organization, Legal, Finance, Procurement) and external partnerships (partnership account team).

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Supports overall relationship and entire PSS book of business with key partner(s)
• Supports innovation in program design and execution through the selection of key strategic partners that demonstrate forward-thinking in the key categories above
• Maintains vendor profiles, issue logs, scorecards, account spend, strategic roadmaps, capabilities for points of difference/parity, roadmaps for current capabilities and planned across vendor
• Supports partnership with procurement and contracting for evaluating and renegotiating vendor MSAs & SOWs to meet current market standards for key terms such SLAs and payment terms
• Provides standards for SLA/KPIs for that vendor leveraging collective knowledge across vendor management
• Helps manage escalations and facilitates corrective action plans/service improvement plans for performance, governance, or contractual non-compliance issues
• Helps maintain and develop organizational best practices and leverages them effectively to ensure launch excellence across programs, vendors, and individual services
• Supports the overall Patient & Specialty Services organization’s capacity to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of their practices, partnerships and programs for a better customer/patient experience
• Supports oversight of cost models and projections where necessary to understand vendor spend and ROIs

This position can be based remotely anywhere in the U.S. (there may be some exceptions based on legal entity registration). Please note that this role would not provide relocation as a result. The expectation of working hours and travel (domestic and/or international) will be defined by the hiring manager. This position will require 25% - 50% travel.

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• Education: Bachelor's Degree is required (preferably in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Business related discipline), advanced degree strongly preferred

Required Experience:
• 8+ years of systems or vendor experience, preferable with some direct pharmaceutical experience in patient services
• 5+ years of account management experience
• Experience in system and / or vendor transitions including all aspects of developing strategy and design to execution
• Strong planning and organization, communication and problem solving skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally within and across regional and HQ functions (e.g. Finance, Marketing, USMM)
• Demonstrated experience analyzing complex situation and processes and effectively integrating and synthesizing the data to form a complete cohesive picture
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize information to develop recommendations, and ability to persuade / influence organization pursuit of recommended path
• Customer focused with ability to develop long-term relationships with customers and gain their trust and respect.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to relay financial information to non-finance groups.
• Travel as required

Preferred Experience:
• 2+ years with finance & Procurement activities experience
• Experience with digital and Adherence programs and vendors
• Novartis product and competitive product knowledge
• Knowledgeable about Legislative landscape - Federal and State
• Knowledgeable about Legal issues & Safe Harbors related to Finance, Competition, Reimbursement, Discount & MSAs
