Job Description

+250 molecules, including 20 of the 25 most important molecules on the market, Sandoz holds one of the most significant product portfolios in Canada. Sandoz is a Novartis Division. You will be responsible of the order process management with external suppliers. You will also develop and manage the day-to-day supplier operational relationship. Implement and follow-up of S&OP, performance KPI’s to ensure high customers service levels including stock management.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Order fulfillment tasks for products manufactured at assigned External Suppliers.
• Establish and oversee an optimal supply plan, with the goal to balance customer service level, production capabilities at external supplier, inventory level and operational cost according to budget.
• Design and implement supply chain models that support business strategies which can adapt to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies.
• Timely order fulfillment including organization and management of physical shipment of goods in collaboration with freight forwarders.
• Meet with CMO's to discuss NOSSCE (Novartis Operational Standards for Supply Chain Excellence) and business KPI's to provide performance feedback, root cause analysis and implement improvements.
Design and execute S&OP meetings with Suppliers based on frequencies outlined in the segmentation assessment.
• Responsible for the goods receipt data entry of drug products into SAP - All receipts are completed on a timely basis; Responsible for creating Non SAP PO’s for all destruction reports of product created from the SOM’s CMO reports.

Minimum Requirements

What you'll bring to the role:
• Bachelor in Business specialized in Logistics. APICS certification will put candidate in advantage and 3-5 years planning experience in an industrial operations environment.
• Customer focused, proactive, practical and aim to achieve goals.
• Good command of French & English, written and spoken.
• Experience working in a GMP environment;
Knowledge of pharmaceutical operations principles and supply chain practices & Supply Chain Principles – extensive knowledge and understanding of Materials Management principles such as (but not limited to) MPS, MRP, CRP, DRP, SFC, purchasing, distribution, import/export, transportation, etc
• Pharmaceutical Production – knowledge of pharmaceutical operations and industry practices, preferred.
• Commercial negotiations skills.
