Triple the business for Oncology. Cancer continues to be one of the leading disease prevalence in the Philippines. Sandoz will continue to find novel ways to launch products that will address the need of cancer patients and provide them access to affordable and quality medicines towards a better quality of life.
As a District Manager – Oncology, you will manage at a national scope as a First Level Line Manager. You will be responsible for driving the sales operations plan and for achieving agreed sales and broader performance targets of the organization/specific product in the specialty area. You will also develop an effective sales team through training and coaching or management of key commercial programs and bring specialist knowledge in the required therapeutic area.

Your Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Accountable for achieving own and team’s agreed sales, productivity and performance targets. Create and execute business plans to drive this achievement, and responsible for brands’ strategic and tactical planning in line with company strategy and standards. Work independently to maintain existing clients and to develop new business opportunities.
• Manage and optimize effective allocation of resources to deliver required business results. Manage area sales and expense budgets.
• Serve as a communication bridge from Senior Management to Sales Representatives / Product Specialists.
• Lead a high-performing team of Medical Representatives / Product Specialists; hire, train and develop them as necessary; provide coaching and feedback to the team.
• Manage relationships with Key accounts’ decision makers, Key opinion leaders, patient associations; and other colleagues across business functions to achieve desired results. Guide and consult with key accounts, sales team, in the specialized area
• Master product knowledge and disease area knowledge; and coach the team on the same. Gather and be updated on required information regarding the market, key competitors’ market data, pricing intelligence, key accounts etc. Ensure Excellency in Customer Satisfaction and Customer Services.
• Complete all reporting and administrative requirements in a timely and accurate manner.
• Operate within Novartis compliance, policies and procedures; and creates a culture that ensures all reports, direct and indirect, do the same.

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• Degree in Life Sciences, Business or Marketing
• Sales in Healthcare / Pharma / related business
• People Leadership; Operations Management and Execution; Commercial Forecasting
• Oncology experience, preferred 3-4 years relevant experience
• Able to understand changing dynamics of Pharmaceutical industry
• Proficient and fluent in English (spoken and written), with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Digital & Technology Savvy
