Product Steward (m/w/d), Kundl, Tyrol, Austria

180 million packs per year! This makes one antibiotic the volume leader in the entire Sandoz TO. As a Product Steward, you will help ensure patient care with this essential drug.

Your area of ​​responsibility:

Your tasks include:
• You have visibility and knowledge for the entire manufacturing process of a group of oral or sterile medicinal products throughout the commercial life cycle and act as a single point of contact
• You have a good understanding of process capability through data trends and statistical analysis of critical variables to ensure processes are robust, in a continuous state of validation and continually improving
• You assess the impact of technical changes, their technical feasibility and together with other experts determine the scope / design of technical batches, question the technical risk and the business benefit of the proposed technical changes
• You track and evaluate product performance, trends, identify problems, and implement corrective as well as preventive actions
• Lead/support root cause investigation of process failures, initiate and lead product improvement projects involving cross-functional teams
• You contribute to the registration strategy and support registration activities

Minimum Requirements

What you bring to the position:
• Academic degree (MSc, PhD) in biotechnology, chemistry, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical technology or equivalent
• Fluency in English, knowledge of German is desirable
• Relevant/several years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and/or development processes, for example as a process expert or a scientific position in process development
• Extensive experience with computerized systems, solid experience in handling data and basic understanding of applied statistics (e.g. MS Office, SAP, Minitab, JMP)

Additional qualifications
• Proven track record of leading interdisciplinary teams and project management skills
