The aim of the Key Account Manager position is to achieve sales and activity within defined key accounts, by maintaining current, and generating new business leads to build a positive environment for current and future Sandoz brands.

This role sits within our Immunology & Oncology Biosimilar portfolios, and will cover territory across England with a focus within the Midlands.

Your responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Achieve Sales and activity targets on territory for promoted Sandoz products as per the cycle critical metrics.
• Build local business plans in line with national strategy to deliver financial and activity targets.
• Take responsibility for managing all key partners within their territory including consultants, nurses, pharmacists and payors (e.g., CCG Leads and NHS Area Teams).
• Ensure maximum sales and value is gained through the Sandoz portfolio and short and long-term objectives are set and monitored.
• Build a positive environment on the territory for biosimilars and other key Sandoz products.
• Proactively maintain up to date knowledge of products and therapy areas.
• Understand and remain updated on the NHS environment both at a National level and throughout the local health economy.

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• ABPI qualified.
• Educated to degree level in a business or science subject
• 3+ years’ branded pharmaceutical sales experience in selling to secondary care specialists.
• Experience with strategic NHS organisations including NHS England, CCGs, and Hospital Trusts.
• Joint working with key partners across health economies.
• Strong influence/negotiation skills and relationship management capabilities, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable requirements:
• Experience with launches and/or working with biologics/Biosimilars is desirable.
• Ideally, commercial experience dealing with contracts through CMU as well as local volume based hospital contracts
