As Strategic Talent Marketing & Sourcing Lead – Austria (d/f/m), you will be a key driver in ensuring that our Technical Operations and Commercial sites in Austria, which constantly ensure that patients all over Europe and the world have the best talent they need, to develop and produce our life-saving medicine like penicillin.

Your key responsibilities:

This newly created opportunity is focused across three strategic areas, strategic talent marketing, talent relationships and early talent. Reporting to the Global Head of Strategic Talent Marketing, Intel & Sourcing.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• In partnership with Country leaders, P&O leaders, Communications Head & with the Regional Lead of Strategy Talent Marketing for EMEA, responsible for operationalizing the Novartis Employer Value Proposition into digital and local non-digital channels locally for efficient external and internal talent engagement and local employer brand creation.
•Continually research the talent market, analyze new tools, trends, channels and potential talent pools such as refugees and diverse talent, as well as benchmarking against competition.
•Evaluate early talent opportunities with P&O, TA colleagues and Country leaders, including the creation of an early talent strategy, identifying and building new and refreshing existing relationships with local educational institutions for efficient talent acquisition.
•With the Regional Lead for Strategic Talent Marketing & local P&O, devise, and execute the presence of Novartis at relevant talent conferences, business networking and virtual events and engage talent for active career opportunities and pipelining for the future.
•Help build relationships with key talent within the Novartis Alumni, Novartis talent pools and talent event attendees for live roles and for the future.
•Manage and showcase the value of all initiatives through robust reporting.

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential:
• Curiosity, innovation, collaboration, solution focused thinking and emotional intelligence.
• Degree (or international equivalent) in Business, Strategy, Marketing or a related field is required.
• Proven track record in developing data-focused talent engagement/attraction/marketing plans gained ideally in medical, commercial, FMCG, chemical or tech industry.
• Strategic & analytical thinker. Delivery focused and have the ability to partner at a leadership level.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels, strong business partnering and experience in a global, fast paced environment is required.
• Fluency in English and German is essential

In accordance with Austrian law, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary as stated in the collective bargaining agreement. For this position the minimum salary is € 52.204,04 /year (on a full time basis). In most cases, the actual salary will be higher, as we strive to maintain a competitive position in the market and consider your previous experience, qualifications and individual competencies.
