Please note the location for this role is listed as London due to system limitations, this role is field based with some flexibility to adapt to territories according to team presence.

Working with external customers and AAA UK partners, Service Development and NHS Partnership Manager will ensure optimal patient access to innovative medicines inclusive of funding and service activities

Our candidate will get excited about building and leading regional market access plans for their assigned area. They will remove access barriers at regional and local levels for AAA products in terms of listing, reimbursement, purchasing. They will be focused on developing regional initiatives that will educate access stakeholders. The candidate also will be comfortable adapting to the paradigms of working post-COVID.

Your responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Collaborate with hospitals’ Leadership, regional stakeholders and Account Team to build and implement a locality access plan which is aligned to both franchise and team objectives incorporating both commissioning and service activities and informing the Key Account plans.
Represent AAA and build trust and relationships with key commissioning partners and key opinion leaders in the relevant therapy area at a regional and local level.
Build sustainable strategic relationships with those groups that set guidance at a sub national level and have a broader national impact beyond the immediate local geography. Ensure key insights are fed back to appropriate internal partners.
Develop and implement partnership initiatives with customers where there is a prioritised patient need; principles of these initiatives are consistent with the franchise, business & account plan objectives. Examples can be new outcome based models, patient review services, etc.
Build business cases and gain approval from Trust board and the Franchise Leadership team. Measure progress of agreed key commissioning & service activities designed to improve the speed and ease of patient access, and optimise patient care in line with agreed metrics and project management principles.
Maintain and share an excellent understanding of the NHS, enabling environmental assessment and develop insights and intelligence to facilitate competitive advantage and inform development of local market access tools and materials.
To comply with all appropriate external regulations, ABPI Code of Practice and AAA principles.

What you’ll bring to the role:

Service development and redesign experience including but not limited to: joint working partnerships, pharmacy reviews, establishment of integrated Secondary Care networks, therapy area reviews
Direct or indirect leadership experience with sales teams, service projects and/or commissioning customers
Experience building advocacy & access plans with proven commercial outputs

Ability to engage and influence policy and guidelines in national bodies such as NHS
Experience of input into national advocacy plans and working with top tier KOLs within own territory
