The Integrated Marketing Organization is instrumental in driving both brand and Marketing strategies, leveraging a cross-functional suite of peers to orchestrate communications and campaigns for optimal impact across key customer audiences. Each and every day, the Marketing Organization will collabo-rate and innovate to get more medicines, faster, into the hands of the people that need them most.

Job Purpose:
The Director, Product Operations Lead is responsible for the integration and deployment of technical products within the Integrated Marketing and Customer Experience, US Pharma organization. This individual will report directly to the Head of Product Management and will manage all product roll outs, inclusive of tools, processes, data, and technologies that enable meaningful experiences for our customers and healthcare professionals. This Lead will collaborate closely with a large cross-section of groups and stakeholders in Marketing, Data Science, TT (IT) and Procurement to ensure operational excellence in delivery and integration of products into the business. The role will also oversee the integration of the tech roadmap to ensure a positive digital experience, minimizing incidents and operational risk while executing Novartis’ strategic goals.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Enhance enterprise capabilities through strategic planning and oversight of marketing processes, standardized reporting, technology infrastructure and architecture, and data integration
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of enterprise business processes, and drive building scalable digital marketing solutions
• Deep understanding of the marketing technology and vendor landscape, including marketing database integration, marketing campaign platforms, digital asset library management, marketing on-demand software platforms, CRM and email platforms, and the integration of these platforms to core IT systems and databases
• Support data ownership, portability, and transparency within and across stack, internally, as well as via our agency and vendor partners, on boarders, DSPs, ad servers and SSPs
• Collaborate with TT (IT) & Marketing leadership on the proper approach to implement new technology, tools, processes, data, and technologies for marketing operations and analytics
• Serve as primary liaison for the Agency Management lead to ensure deliverables and timelines are met, contracts and billing are current, and statements of work are complete
• Drive technical enablement of marketing automation and channel readiness supporting the overall marketing strategy
• Serve as point-of-contact for communications law and regulations, data governance, data security, privacy regulations, and compliance and confer with TT (IT), Data, Insights & Analytics, Legal, and Global stakeholders in addition to key Commercial leaders

The ideal location for this role is the East Hanover, New Jersey site, but remote work may be possible (there may be some exceptions based on legal entity registration). If associate is remote, all home office expenses and any travel/lodging to specific to the East Hanover site for periodic live meetings will be at the employee’s expense. The expectation of working hours and travel (domestic and/or international) will be defined by the hiring manager.

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field is required; Master of Science and/or MBA preferred

Experience:
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in product and technology roles in an agency and/or regulated industry
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the integration, deployment, and delivery of digital products
• Multi-functional experience in Pharmaceutical, Healthcare or Consumer Packaged Goods, preferred
• Demonstrated understanding within the Marketing Technology landscape and with tools such as but not limited to Marketing Cloud (i.e., Salesforce, Adobe), CDP (Tealium), Salesforce Engagement (Veeva), DAM (Aprimo, Veeva), Preference Management (Gigya), Google Analytics, CMS (Dru-pal)
• Expertise in product management and product discovery
