The Integrated Marketing Organization, within our US Pharmaceuticals division, is instrumental in driving both brand and Marketing strategies, leveraging a cross-functional suite of peers to orchestrate communications and campaigns for optimal impact across key customer audiences. Each and every day, the Marketing Organization will collaborate and innovate to get more medicines, faster, into the hands of the people that need them most.

Job Purpose:
The Director, Content Strategy Lead will be responsible for providing the strategy approach around the con-tent deliverables for innovative programs that cross our portfolio and sit above brand. This position reports directly to the Head of Content Lab and will collaborate closely with the Content Planning Lead to provide specialty services across the US Pharma enterprise, driving key content projects and new initiatives, implementing and continuously improving content across the Integrated Marketing & Customer Experience, US Pharma organization. The Lead will identify new content needs across the Novartis portfolio to effectively engage and drive behavior change across HCPs and patients and identify and test solutions that will enable the growth and adoption of a more advanced content capability across Novartis. Our vision is to transform customer facing personal engagement models by delivering the right tactic, most relevant content, at the right timing, to the right customer, across channels, devices, and geographies. This role will serve as the day-to-day contact for Marketing Leads and Integrated Experience Planners, who identify content and information gaps that need solutioning.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Help solution and drive strategy and implementation of content approach for innovation and acceleration projects.
• Develop solutions with cross-functional stakeholders to drive personalized, dynamic content, while ensuring legal and compliance in a scalable, efficient way.
• Continue to innovate Novartis’ content operations, delivering best-in-class offerings
• Share and embed knowledge on content and production best practices to support products across the full lifecycle (pre-launch, launch, mature) and lead solutioning where a new content need is identified
• Actively partner with key internal teams including Agency Management and Media Management to maximize solutioning with existing relationships to drive efficiency and speed

The ideal location for this role is the East Hanover site but remote work may be possible (there may be some exceptions based on legal entity registration). Please note that this role would not provide relocation as a result. If associate is remote, all home office expenses and any travel/lodging to specific site for periodic live meetings will be at the employee’s expense. The expectation of working hours and travel (domestic and/or international) will be defined by the hiring manager.

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
Education: Bachelor's degree in relevant field required; Master of Science and/or MBA preferred

Experience:
• Minimum 7 years of experience in content adaption and solutioning, with experience in Pharmaceutical or Healthcare or within an agency/creative shop preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in stakeholder management
• Experience launching a new innovative digital content solution
• Experience in leading multiple, key projects and initiatives on time, on track, and on budget
• Understanding of wellness, health & lifestyle coverage
• The ability to manage cross-functional marketing and technology teams, advocate for customer experience management, and collaborate across the organization to create integrated solutions.
• Experience in implementing content to change behavior and drive improved engagement
• Understanding of regulatory, compliance privacy and legal guardrails and policies
