Job Description

Worldwide 600 million people suffer from Asthma & COPD. Many of the innovative medicines are costly. Sandoz has deep commitment in bringing affordable quality generic medicine for respiratory illness. By working in the product development, the candidate will directly contribute to the Sandoz mission.

Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Lead and manage a group of associates, scientifically and project-wise leading the technical part of development projects (technical project teams); contribute to the development and life cycle management of Respiratory drugs and formulations according to international (FDA/EMA) standards
• Manage resource allocation and capacity to ensure timelines and key milestones are achieved
• Coach and develop people; recruit talents. Support a culture of high performance and trust
• Assure that the required level of knowledge and skills is available and identify competency gaps; establish and implement training and development plans
• Ensure that personnel meets internal and external guidelines regarding quality and safety (quality manuals, regulatory cGMP guidelines, health authority guidances, SOPs). Promote and enforce compliance regarding health, safety and environment (HSE)
• Establish and maintain sound working relationship with partners and customers

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• PhD/ Degree in pharmacy
• Fluent in English (oral and writing)
• Experiences in Pharmaceutical Development
• A track record of success
• Excellent leadership skills, ability to lead and influence people
• Broad understanding of Respiratory drug development
• Respiratory device development understanding
• Very good organizational skills
• Strong knowledge in GMP and regulatory guidelines
