Your responsibilities:
As a Commercial Early Portfolio manager, you are responsible to support / accompany / challenge Novartis and cross functional teams (Early Product Teams) in defining and implementing the framework to secure / foresee the business related to a selection of early assets (as from PhII and before PhIII) through:
o close collaboration with the Early Market Access team and Medical Affairs team. Next to these two core collaborators you will have exchanges with Marketing, Sales & Finance, as well as within the ComExSO department, RE and global
o drive and develop with Early Market Access and Medical Affairs Team proactive and reactive input of analytical elements (market penetration, peak share, as example)
o the generation and impactful communication of the recommendations based on quantitative & qualitative data, both internal and external
- standardize & implement a methodology to select early assets for which Novartis should put a focus on, and a business case needs to be developed for. These assets within early portfolio are across various therapeutic areas
- Build business cases, including different G2M models followed by a recommendation what model is preferred for Novartis Pharma France.
- Federate and be a part of the internal cross functional team responsible for early portfolio – to drive successful early data generation to optimize access, (pre-)launch preparation, and finally ensure the best launch.
- Bring commercial expertise to Early Product Teams, to drive successful data generation, business and commercial modeling, both for product and market shaping

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• In-depth understanding of the Pharma market place including key dynamics, competitors, country regulatory and market environments
• Proven track record of success showing strong strategic and analytical thinking (e.g. Marketing, Access, Strat…), problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
• Being able to deal with complex & multiple therapeutic area & indications
• Being able to foresee & accept working on product still under medical trials
• Proven track records on strong launch /prelaunch methodology
• Strong leadership skills and experience in leading, teaming with, and motivation of cross-functional teams

Desirable requirements:
• University degree in bioscience, medicine, business, and/or economics, MBA or PhD preferred
• Professional experience at least 4 to 7 years within pharmaceutical industry, incl marketing experience or consulting background with a pharma experience
