As a Business Unit Head, you will lead and develop the overall performance of the business franchise/unit's current and future product portfolio and deliver sales and profits within agreed budgets. You will also lead and develop a high-performing sales and marketing team and build effective and enduring business relationships with key customers/stakeholders.
Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• The delivery of Rx BU objectives through effective leadership and management of his / her Business Unit team.
• Lead, handle and develop the overall performance of his / her BU, collaborating with Regional teams to set strategy for current and future product portfolio components of his / her BU, delivering sales and profits within agreed budgets, and providing effective leadership of his / her team.
• Work with BD & Portfolio team to set launching strategies on current and future portfolio opportunities.
• Devise a long-term strategy for the responsible Business Units product portfolio and fit of organization with market/customer requirements. Ensure short-term plans/strategies accommodate the long-term thinking as well as changes taking place in the market and respond to customer needs.
• Actively researches the target market segment in order to assess all opportunities for growth.
• Oversees marketing strategies for new portfolio pipeline in the long-term view, performs all business analyses.
• Budgeting and controlling of sales and marketing expenditure in cooperation with finance. Develop and control all BU plans, forecasts, objectives in a given part of the business (sales TGT, A & P budget, ….).
• Seek and develop innovative ways of identifying and demonstrating the value of Sandoz products to patients and HCPs.

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Pharmacy...etc.
- Proficient and fluent in English(both written and spoken) with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Min. 5 years of relevant sales and marketing experience, preferably at least 2 years as BU Head
- Emerging market experience is an asset
- Brand management, commercial and leadership experience in Pharmaceutical industry
- Able to understand changing dynamics of Pharmaceutical industry, experience in branded share of voice markets in multinational companies preferable
- Strong leadership skills
- Analytical thinking
- Knowledge of finance (P&L)
- Ability to work and lead (a cross-functional team) in a matrix environment
- Turkish language preferable
