Manufacturing Interface (Technical Steward), 50-100% (f/m/d), NTO, Schaftenau, Austria

Your key responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Provide specialist knowledge and expertise to the site as Subject Matter Expert of the specific biopharmaceutical processes and process technologies.
• Coordinate processes and standards to maintain and improve existing technologies and implement new innovative manufacturing technologies.
• Participate in the definition and selection of biopharmaceutical equipment.
• Benchmark new technologies and equipment relevant for the site.
• Harmonize and optimize technical processes across the site.
• Supports Product Stewards / Process Experts in trouble shooting/root cause investigations.
• Act as the SPOC for the interface with global MS&T network and with technical development organization, for the corresponding global activities, to define and implement new technical standards for existing and new technologies and equipment.

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential:
• BSc. in Biotechnology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering or Pharmaceutical Technology (desirable MSc in the above or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 - 6 years of experience in GMP manufacturing relevant or late stage development to the specialist area of expertise
• Shown process understanding of up- and downstream technologies (cell culture cultivation, chromatographic separation, filtration, etc.)
• Detailed experience in computerized systems, data management, process control and fundamental understanding of applied statistics (MS-office, PI, Minitab, JMP). SAP, OSI PI, R desirable
• Understanding and oversight of relevant regulatory requirements, e.g. GMPs, ICH Q-guidelines
• Fluent in English, German language desirable
• Ability to act in a sophisticated and rapidly changing business environment
• Consistent record in leading interdisciplinary teams, project management skills as well as communication skills

Desirable requirements:
• Great teammate with ability to foster stakeholder engagement
• Strong negotiator, influencing and persuading

For this position the minimum salary is € 52.204,04/year (on a full time basis).
