The Director, Medical Impact will lead the process definition, implementation, and continuous assessment of medical impact aligned to the CDMA strategic objectives and priorities. Support the organization in making data driven decisions based on impact and results.
Your responsibilities will include:
•Strategic Oversight/Project Leadership –Develop and implement across USCDMA a consistent framework (including processes, terminology, policies, etc) for measuring medical impact across all functions/projects. Drive the culture change and mindset shift needed for successful adoption and implementation of a KPI and impact framework.
•Launch Excellence – Ensure all pre-launch/priority brands have identified and cross-functionally aligned impact measures to improve patient access and outcomes aligned to the patient journey (Clinical Care Measures/TPOs). Ensure leading indicators are also identified.
•Data Models – Partner with RWE and Medical Intelligence team on the creation of data mod-els and the development of measurement frameworks. Partner with RWE, Field Medical, and Disease Area strategy to translate data into actions. Identify optimal engagement pat-terns driving impact.
•Data Tracking and Visualization – In collaboration with COMPASS Impact workstream, develop CDMA impact dashboard coordinating with each functional area to ensure alignment with overarching strategic priorities and each team’s key performance indicators. Communication of impact tracking across USCDMA Leadership and Pharma Leadership
•Decision Making – Partner with Medical Strategy and across USCDMA to ensure impact is driving resources allocation and optimal engagement strategies with customers.

•Bachelors or equivalent 4-Year University Degree required.
•Advanced degree preferred (MS, MPA, MPH, MBA, MD, PhD, or PharmD)
•7 years in pharmaceutical/biotech industry or related industry (e.g. healthcare industry consulting)
•Prior consulting or related experience preferred
•Process focused mindset with strong analytical and communication skills
•Experience or formal education in Operational Research
•Digital first approach with experience in data projects (sourcing, processing, modeling)
•Experience in organizational effectiveness
•Experience applying technology to solve business problems
•Strong knowledge of Medical Affairs, Clinical Development or related pharmaceutical company research related function preferred
•Leading without authority/influencing
•Track record of senior stakeholder management skills
•Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
