New Business Manager Europe (f/m/d), Global Sandoz B2B, Kundl, Austria

Your key responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• The prioritization of our out-licensing projects in accordance with strategic priorities
• Project management including resource allocation, timeline adherence, internal and external communication as well as working effectively in cross-functional teams in a matrix environment
• Participate in the execution of the organization’s B2B strategies and plans
• Perform out-licensing activities to enhance the value of alliances and manage partnership risks
• Support negotiations and structuring of transactions (e.g. out-License deals, out-distribution deals.)
• Support the head of New Business Europe with business case elaboration, scenario analysis, project presentations.

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential:
• University degree in business, alternatively university degree in natural sciences + MBA
• Minimum of 5-years’ experience in new business development and outlicensing within the B2B environment of the pharmaceutical industry
• Proven market research experience
• Entrepreneurial, creative and high-energy team player with excellent business acumen, strategic thinking ability and strong sales experience
• Fluency in English, German is an advantage

Desirable requirements:
• Excellent negotiator with effective presentation and communication abilities
• Strong problem solving, conflict resolution and decision-making skills

In addition to a market-competitive base salary, we offer an attractive incentive program, a modern company pension scheme, childcare facilities, learning and development options as well as worldwide career opportunities within the Novartis group. In accordance with Austrian law, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary as stated in the collective bargaining agreement. For this position the minimum salary is € 69,735.96 €/year (on a full time basis). The actual salary will be significantly higher, as we strive to maintain a competitive position in the market and consider your previous experience, qualifications and individual competencies.
