25! This is the number of new products we want to launch every year in RCS in order to be the first to give patients access to affordable and high quality generic medicine.

In Sandoz development center (SDC) we are offering opportunity for a personal and professional growth. We are looking for a candidate for the position of a »Head Continuous Performance Improvement (m/f/d)«, who will govern the implementation of digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives in SDC based on SDC’s business needs and in alignment with global Product Development (PD) digital transformation and global continuous improvement communities. This person will lead adoption of digital technologies and agile ways of working in order to optimize operational processes, increase efficiency, and shape a culture with strong data & digital capabilities.

Your key responsibilities
• Implement key initiatives for improvement of operational processes and digital transformation in alignment with business needs of SDC and Global Product development;
• Collaborate with cross functional and cross SDC’s hybrid teams to achieve exceptional results by digitizing the ways on how PD organization operates, innovates and enables the digital culture and implement these in SDC;
• Build a digital mindset throughout SDC by implementing new technologies and ways of working on projects and initiatives;
• Implement and monitor metrics at SDC and functional level to create transparency on actual competitiveness and performance for internal and external benchmarking;
• Lead and coordinate functional groups involved in initiatives of operational improvements and digital transformation;
• Identify to re-apply or share best practices and solutions within local, global and external landscape to enhance the implementation, digitalization and drive efficiency;
• Secure prioritization of opportunities at function and SDC level according to capacity requirements in balance with project workload;
• Identify and design individual improvement projects in close collaboration with functional heads and experts;

Minimum Requirements

What you will bring to the role
• What you will bring to the role Min. MSc. in life sciences or other related field, PhD. advantageous;
• >5 years of experience in generic pharma field with clear understanding of business processes, particularly in development;
• Fluency in English;
• Experience in leading and influencing teams to achieve organizational objectives (leadership or project management experience);
• Continuous improvements (OpEx) experience evident in utilization and implementation of lean concepts & tools:
• Savviness in understanding and testing emerging IT technologies;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to interpret and communicate complex information;
• Capability to build relationships, collaborate and influence stakeholders across a multifunctional, cross country matrix organization.
