Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Assign and maintain correct reliable master data (Customs Tariff Number, Preference Management, Narcotics, Dual Usage, etc.) in the system for all commercial and non-commercial materials accordingly. Ensure and validate the correctness of e-Dec Import Declaration information
• Ensure correct VAT declaration upon import into Switzerland by applying all necessary valuation guidelines; Responsible for the validation and correctness of export authorization and perform the embargo, sanctions, denied party screening to release the shipment
• Ensure compliant import and export licenses on controlled substances at Swiss customs according to the regulations of Swissmedic. Perform the necessary activities within import and export licenses using the National Drugs Control System (NDS) of Swissmedic.
• Execute import and export customs clearances. As single point of contact for Custom authorities, Budesamt für Gesundheit (BAG), Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Swissmedic, support Novartis Pharma AG, Novartis Pharma Services AG, Sandoz AG, Novartis Pharma Stein AG, Novartis Pharma Schweizerhalle AG and Friedrich Miescher Institut Basel in foreign trade.
• Support the responsible person for special permit at Bundesamt für Gesundheit (BAG) and legalization of invoice/country of origin from Swiss Chamber of Commerce
• Close collaboration with Center of Excellence on Foreign Trade Master Data activities
• Managed the administration of indirect purchasing related to the Swiss Chamber of Commerce, Swissmedic, Medikurier and other services

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• Bachelor or above, with education background of international trading or goods importation/exportation
• Professional English Skill to handle routine international trading business
• More than 2 years working experience with international trade handling or goods importation/exportation.

Desirable requirements:
• Excellent knowledge SAP
• Ability to quickly understand complex business processes
