Job Description

Map-out corporate business strategy in close coordination with Strategic Planning and Execution Head Japan, Regional and global stakeholders. Drive portfolio strategy, and business growth by successful launches through BD&L and in-house assets.

Major Accountabilities:
• Map out 5 year strategic portfolio outlook process
• Build and maintain portfolio strategy, and make sure Sandoz secures access to wish-listed molecules in close collaboration with Development and Commercial Operations through internal and external sourcing including RXGX process management
• Lead launch readiness by managing launch management cross-functional team as the project manager, and collaborate with Commercial Launch team to optimise returns from launches
• Set BDL priorities and strategies according to the company growth strategy, and execute BD&L deals both licensing-in and out by professionally managing external partners and internal processes
• Evaluate new business franchise opportunities, such as pain management / implants, and drive the growth initiatives once decided
• Drive any kinds of external growth opportunities, including strategic alliance / assets acquisitions / M&A
• Liaise with global and regional functions, i.e. strategy, portfolio, launch management and BD&L, and manage alignment processes
• Listen to the market / competitions / financial communities, and share key findings with management team members

Minimum Requirements

Education :
Minimum B.A. desired MBA in Marketing or equivalent
Master’s Degree in related field, i.e. Pharmaceutical Management.

- Consulting or Market research experience in pharmaceutical business
- Project management
- Development experience as an advantage

- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent analytical skills(problem structuring and problem solving), able to handle complex analyses
- Demonstrated ability to find solutions in a resource constrained environment
- Broad knowledge of pharmaceutical market landscape, therapeutic areas, business models and competitors highly desirable
