Job Description

Leads local Field Medical Excellence (FME) team while driving strategic and tactical direction and execution of FME objectives (incl. launch readiness, MSL deployment, tools and key pro-cesses) in alignment with local Franchises, the Regional Field Medical Excellence Head and the Global Field Medical Excellence group.
Develops capabilities of the Field Medical team (Medical metrics tracking, field coach-ing), and leading the digitalization of the Field Medical Organization (iPads agility, Medical CRM). Leads the development of strong medical competencies, leadership and launch excel-lence capabilities of the MSLs.



Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Actively participates in CPO planning process (IPS and LRR) utilizing regional and local insights to shape the local MSL strategy.

• Builds and implements high quality standardized Field Medical related processes across therapeutic areas and Franchises:
- Responsible for local coaching: processes, tools, guidance, conduct coaching for MSLs
- Ensures local insight gathering and exchange across functions
- Establishes and maintains processes to optimize communication and exchange including best practice sharing with the Region and Global

• Ensures the enhancement of local/CPO Field Medical capabilities:
- Accountable for assessing proactively training needs for local MSLs with respect to capability enhancement
- Ensures local implementation of Field Medical training curriculum

• Drives CPO MSL resource allocation and long term MSL deployment strategy in collaboration with TA Heads/Franchises. Ensures regular reporting to regional and global teams

• Contributes to all aspects of recruiting, hiring, on-boarding and coordinates medical/scientific training together with Franchises. Contributes to individual development plans and career path for MSLs in place.

• Develops and aligns with Global/Region/CPO standardized KPIs and drives regular tracking and reporting to Regional & Global leadership/Franchises/GMATs.

• Responsible for proper and compliant reporting of Adverse Events and Product complaints in order to fulfill all regulatory requirements

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

• University Degree in Medicine / Pharmacy
• Medical Science and Disease Area Knowledge.
• Analytical and presentation skills and ability to work across multiple franchises
• Fluent knowledge of Czech and English.
• Experience with direct or indirect team management is an advantage
• Previous experience in Medical Science Liaison or Medical Lead (Advisor)
