[Cluster II belongs to Region Europe and includes the following countries: AT, BE, CZ, SK, SI, HR, HU, UA, UZ, BY , RO, BG, GR, XK, MK, BiH, and distributor markets.]

Your responsibilities:
The role of the Head Strategy is to drive long-term growth in Cluster II by identifying and implementing key growth opportunities and critical areas to deliver on Cluster future performance.
This role will be responsible for
- Shaping the strategic vision for Cluster 2 to capture medium and long term opportunities, which will require deep understanding of market dynamics and portfolio set-up and performance
- Reviewing and updating the commercial strategy and Go-To-Market model, including key country segmentation and resource allocation, in collaboration with functional heads
- Ensuring alignment and buy-in of key stakeholders for an effective implementation
- Driving cluster governance, coordinating PMO (Project Management Office) activities and key commercial processes and interactions (e.g. budget and target discussions, business reviews, key regular and ad-hoc meetings) for efficient decision making.

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Strategy and Business Intelligence
• Together with the Cluster Head, CFO and Commercial Heads, deliver the strategic plan and vision for Cluster II including delivery of the 5 year strategic plan and the Annual Target plan in co-operation with Cluster Team and Country Heads
• Define strategic imperatives and key recommendations, leveraging insights from competitor gap analysis, market predictions, financial plans, pipeline information, current products lifecycle positions, etc.
• Provide on-going operating rhythm to key Cluster and Country Commercial Processes to accelerate quality of output and improve business understanding and commercial execution
• Maintain strong collaboration with the Global and regional Strategic Planning department
• Maintain superior understanding of the regulatory landscape and healthcare legislation
• Initiate and lead commercial projects in line with the Regional and Cluster long term strategy

Cluster governance, PMO and Key Commercial Processes
• Initiate and follow-up on preparation for Strategic Planning and Business Reviews/Performance Acceleration Meetings (Cluster Team with Global and Regional Teams and with Selected Cluster II countries
• Provide project management support to cross-functional team for key Cluster programs
• Facilitates Monthly Calls and Quarterly meetings
• Review and improve Cluster governance to increase efficiency and consistency of interactions and consolidate meetings with overlapping objectives (such as monthly performance reviews, Business Reviews etc.)

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• University degree, advanced degree such as MBA or PhD desired
• Pharmacy degree a plus
• English: fluent is a must, additional European language a plus
• 3-5 years of Management Consulting or equivalent Strategy positions
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and health systems in the Region
• Understanding of cultural, historical, and socio-economic landscape in the region’s countries
• Profound skills in market and competitor analysis
• Project management
• Strong analytical skills, numerical agility
• Effective team member, experienced in sharing knowledge and ideas
• Superior ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across a global, matrixed company
• Generics experience preferred
