Job Description

As a field based medical,
To develop and manage professional relationships with healthcare professionals and to provide medical/scientific support for assigned therapeutic areas.
To bring field insights, digest within the medical context and reflect to medical strategy/plan and contribute in the brand’s success

A. Medical expert Engagement
- Develop ME mapping and execute ME engagement plan to effectively prioritize and strategically engage MEs aligned with country strategy, including establishment of effective referral chain nation-wide
- Develop and maintain professional relationship with Medical Experts (MEs) and Medical Society by exchanging quality scientific communication
- Lead & Coordinate appropriate education of all key stakeholders in/externally and effectively communicate about CAR-T therapy to the external stakeholders, eg. multidisciplinary team in the hospital
B. Scientific exchange and data dissemination
- Educate MEs and develop speakers on novel & emerging data as per medical strategy (+/- brand plan)
•Train internal stakeholders to maintain up to date knowledge of the brand/disease
•Respond to unsolicited medical enquiries and liaise with cluster/regional/global as appropriate
•Coordinate and take the lead of internal processes for investigator initiated trials and/or scientific projects, etc.
C. Scientific inputs and insights into action
•Support developing medical strategy and brand plan with robust field insights collected (eg. contribute in iLEX (Launch Excellence))
•Support Novartis Clinical research programs (esp. late phase clinical trials), as appropriate, by providing scientific inputs in collaboration with Clinical operations
• Work collaboratively with key internal Novartis stakeholders, inclusive of C&G medical team, Customer Service Center, and Hematology team
• Contribute to the identification of appropriate clinical investigators and facilitates placement into Novartis sponsored clinical trials
• Support the investigational sites, as needed, as part of a cross-functional team with TMO and the Medical Lead and others as appropriate

Minimum Requirements

Education:.
• Science or Medical background : MD, PharmD, pharmacist, PhD and other life sciences or equivalent with medical/technical background and proven competencies are required

Languages: Fluent in Korean & English, both in written and spoken
Experience:. Demonstrated record of success in Oncology is preferred
• Minimum of 2 years pharmaceutical experience is preferred
- Field medical experiences preferred (especially in oncology)
• Cross-functional collaboration, Communication & negotiation skill, creativity, analytical and strategic thinking
