The Manager, BPA will work independently as the financial business partner to the Global Heads of several NIBR Scientific/Support functions. This position will Function as the lead in the financial planning process by providing monthly reporting and analysis services. Will also act as financial consultant to support decision-making and driving efficiencies.

Functioning as an individual contributor, your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Support decision-making process with financial analysis and ensuring business partners and their teams understand the financial implications of their actions and decisions
• Provide financial expertise in the preparation of monthly reporting, the latest forecasts and budgets
• Successfully partner with the management team in the formulation of their business and financial plans including the understanding of key business and cost drivers, including headcount and capital expenditures
• Interact with FRA regarding month end closing and accruals
• Manage local or global projects and initiatives and the tracking of capital investment projects
• Partner effectively with respective local BPAs for these functions in other sites

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• Bachelor’s degree is required; subject area in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or related preferred; MBA is a plus
• 4+ years of relevant and progressive finance experience for this career development opportunity
• Experience with financial planning and reporting process and systems
• Strong stakeholder management and business partnering expertise
• Ability to present complex information in a simple & concise manner; experience presenting in front of executive team members
• Ability to build & maintain relationships with all levels
• Excellent analytical skills
• Self-motivated / action-oriented
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Advanced skills in Excel and strong experience in Word & PowerPoint
