Strategic Project Manager – Novartis

Primary responsibility is to support the identification and lead the deployment of strategic business projects for Novartis Oncology division in Italy, working closely with the local General Manager and the GM’s 1st line managers (Italian Oncology Leadership Team). You will manage short/long-term planning and special projects across the board, orchestrating strategy and execution in,our mission to reimagine medicine. You will supports Senior Managers in projects around key Novartis products and services to bring added value to patients and to all the stakeholders in the healthcare system.

Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Be part of the local Leadership Team to identify, assess, plan local strategic plans and projects
• Lead the implementation of major strategic projects (internally and/or externally focused)
• Prepare and facilitate regular exchange with the local Leadership Team
• Support the managers and directors in project work and provide expert consultation during all project phases.
• Align closely with stakeholders at country, functional and global level as defined by the requirements of the different projects and initiatives.
• Be an active participant in the local and international Novartis organization to ensure cross-collaboration, exchange of information and best practices.
• Proactively apply project management and innovation management methodologies. Provide change management support and appropriate communications for the implementation of projects and initiatives.

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in consulting in a digital environment
• Strong project management and change management skills
• Preferred previous experience with the pharmaceutical industry
• Strong communication and facilitation skills with senior leaders
• Engineering / Economics / Scientific Degree
• Fluent English and local language
