This role will be responsible to lead the Regional cross-divisional People Partner teams in APMA, delivering a consistent end-to-end P&O experience, focusing on the moments that matter for leaders, managers and associates, also establishing harmonized People Partner processes and ways of working globally / regionally to provide a P&O experience that meets both customer (leaders, managers and associates) and stakeholder expectations (Country P&O Board, Business Partners and COEs) now and in the future.

Key Responsibilities

• Accountable for credible P&O People Partnering to leaders, managers and associates, offering advice and guidance on the moments that matter.
• Accountable for the execution of local implementation of large-scale organizational and day-to-day organizational structure changes, in line with country regulations / policies. Accountable for the overall performance of the People Partnering Teams to ensure successful partnering to all Novartis divisions across a large country, cluster or region.
• Act as a diplomat, negotiator and coach to align the agendas of the business, NBS and the P&O function.
• Activate business ownership and accountability of diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.
• Clarify People Partner team priorities linked to purpose and strategy, helping collaborate with other teams, manage across the matrix, remove obstacles and overcome silos.
• Collaborates with other P&O People Partner Heads in other countries, regions and clusters to maintain a consistent standard globally.
• Leads alignment and harmonization of local regulations with P&O Board; monitors compliance, risk management and review P&O controls (as part of the NFCM framework) working with People Partner team.
• Leads the People Partner team to ensure successful country transitions and integrations including effective change management and business continuity.
• Champions culture and supports implementation of corporate initiatives (e.g., CwR, Evolve, Go Big on Learning) hampions culture and supports implementation of corporate initiatives (e.g., CwR, Evolve, Go Big on Learning).

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role
• Bachelors Degree in any related field. Master’s degree of Postgraduate would be an advantage.
• Minimum 15 years of working experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in a regional capacity.
• Experience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organization
• Experience with leading and implementation of large transformational initiatives in MNC setup.
• Demonstrated strong leadership with a pragmatic mindset and is able to provide integrated solutions according to business needs.
