Senior Expert Science & Technology (m/f/d), TR&D GDD/ Process Analytical Science, Schaftenau, Austria

25+! This is the number of New Biological Entity and Biosimilar projects the Process Analytical Sciences Team in Schaftenau is currently developing! Your laboratory team is key in developing New Biological Entities as well as Biosimilars by performing a wide range of analytical activities ranging from method development to process analytics and performance of stability studies

Your key responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Independently plan, organize, perform and document scientific experiments in a development environment
• Critically evaluate results and draw relevant conclusions
• Write technical protocols, scientific development reports or lab procedures based on templates or SOPs
• Contribute to development and implementation of new technologies
• Lead and manage project activities, and contribute to overall strategies and goals within a project team

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential:
• University degree (e.g. Master Chemistry, Pharmacy, and Biotechnology) with at least 2 years of work related industrial experience
• Thorough understanding of analytical techniques, e.g. HPLC, CE and protein chemistry
• Experience with analytical method development
• Experience within biologics drug product development beneficial
• Very strong communication skills in English, German beneficial

Desirable requirements:
• Experience with working in a matrix organization

In accordance with Austrian law, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary as stated in the collective bargaining agreement. For this position, the minimum salary is € 52.204,04 /year (on a full time basis). In most cases, the actual salary will be higher, as we strive to maintain a competitive position in the market and consider your previous experience, qualifications and individual competencies
