The Associate/ Director, Health Economics Outcomes and Research will lead the collaborative co-creation of core HEOR deliverables (e.g. resource use data collection, network meta analyses and economic models) and their dissemination through Global Value Dossiers (GVD), publications for key compounds in Solid Tumor Franchise. You will also lead the development and execution of a global, all-inclusive HEOR package that is aligned with the medical, commercial and market access strategies for key priority compounds to enable reimbursement and patient access and serve as a facilitator and advises on technical HEOR aspects by harmonizing a common global HEOR strategy for submissions to key health technology assessment (HTA) agencies that improves on achieving reimbursement. This position will be located in HQ East Hanover, New Jersey. Please note that only local candidates will be considered

Responsibilities:
• Develop HEOR strategy to optimize value propositions for Solid Tumor products and portfolio
• Align with business needs, prioritize and secure appropriate funding to implement
• Serve as a value evidence content guide for the franchise to ensure that HEOR strategy and business impact are clearly articulated in product plans and project summaries
• Deliver end-to-end strategic and tactical plans in partnership with Global Access Disease/Product Leads, and countries. Work collaboratively with internal (i.e. PLS) and external partners to complete aligned and prioritized HEOR projects
• Guide Evidence Development Plans for specific indications by pulling in appropriate expertise from RWE, Modeling and PCO.
• Guide the quality & ensure cross functional alignment and success of key HEOR deliverables (GVD, models, indirect comparative analyses, outcomes research projects, and scientific communications)
• Guide dissemination of evidence for inclusion into regulatory, medical, commercial material. Develop dissemination strategy for appropriate messaging to relevant partners
• Ensure HEOR perspectives are incorporated in local and global clinical study designs
• Lead training on the deliverables for communication to appropriate partners
• Lead efforts to identify and champion standard methodologies in HEOR, bringing the outside in by coordinating HEOR partner initiatives
• Ensure ground breaking methodologies are applied in day-to-day research, working in collaboration with the PRO & Modeling Directors

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in Medicine, Natural or Pharmaceutical Sciences. Masters in related field and experience conducting HEOR research, required (related fields include: Health Services Research, Health Economics / Economics, Psychometrics, Health Policy, Outcomes Research, Pharmacy Administration, Epidemiology); basic degree in Pharmacy/ Medicine
• Doctoral degree in related field is preferred

Required Experience:

• Position/Level will be commensurate with experience:
o Associate Director: Minimum 5 years’ experience in research using real world & clinical data and /or pharmaceutical industry related health economics and outcomes research
o Director: Minimum 10 years’ experience in research using real world & clinical data and /or pharmaceutical industry related health economics and outcomes research
• Therapeutic and product knowledge of solid tumor area is preferred
• Experience working on products in different life-cycle stages
• Demonstrated expertise in development and delivery of HE&OR communications for external audiences (e.g., payers, FDA, academic centers, or IDNs) for multiple product(s)/therapeutic indications
• Demonstrated knowledge of key markets’ payer environments and payer/policy maker evidence needs for access and reimbursement
• Experience including HE&OR endpoints in clinical trials and other outcomes studies
• Proven track record to collaborate, operate and influence cross-functionally and cross-culturally
