This is the ambition of the Oncology Business Unit (OBU) and our Health Policy and Patient Access (HPPA) team. We strive to be the leading partner to accelerate and broaden access to care and our medicines for cancer patients.

Your responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Build an agile access-savvy organization with inspired, curious and unbossed associates who share a common vision and purpose
• Continue to enhance the Canadian health system, policy and access understanding, capabilities, and expertise across the OBU; locally, regionally and globally
• Represent HTA market needs in world-wide planning and strategic forums to enable HTA-mindset in global strategies
• Partner with health system stakeholders on innovative solutions and provide thought leadership on health policy and access matters that remove care gaps and ensure health system sustainability
• Double the patient lives touched through our transformative therapies over the next five years by securing broader and faster reimbursement with the ambition of access at regulatory approval for key prioritized therapies
• Prepare Novartis pipeline assets for access and commercial success, maximizing patient reach

Minimum Requirements

What you'll bring to the role:
• Seasoned experience with 15+ years of demonstrated leadership across Market Access, Health Policy, Commercial, and Launch planning
• Proven ability to lead and inspire high performing teams in complex environments
• Partnership mindset and external focus
• Sharp business acumen for dealing with and addressing issues & opportunities
• Trusted working relationships with key Canadian policy, access, and health system stakeholders
• Fluent in English and French preferred
