Job Description

This is a key role in the Data and Digital Transformation team, which works across multiple enterprise innovations including testing new commercial models of engagement or using sophisticated analytics and AI to accelerate the patient journey.

Make an immediate impact with your knowledge of marketing analytics on our digital marketing operations for healthcare professionals and patients, while building future foundations for data-driven healthcare innovation by pioneering proofs-of-concept with exceptional leaders with vision inside and outside the company. This role includes one reporting.

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Demonstrate thought leadership in digital analytics and measurement for marketing, patient support, and strategic projects
• Lead creation and advancement standalone digital analytics and integrating digital into omnichannel dashboards and reports. Support the design and delivery of innovative, data-driven proof-of-concepts in digital health
• Enable omnichannel performance measurement by building a harmonized tagging hierarchy & taxonomy and framework for Content and Campaigns for online and offline channels
• Introduce new ability and insights including customer experience into our measurement framework
• Provide recommendation to marketing, sales, finance, and other functional areas via performance measurement and reporting, decision analytics, and commercial optimization insights.
• Offer suggestions cross-functional teams working with vendor on the development of AI driven insights and algorithms
• Develop Novartis’ thought leadership in Australia around advanced data analytics and AI in healthcare. Build and demonstrate partnerships between global AI and digital health teams and local leaders with vision
• Demonstrated leadership skills, ability to mentor and develop team members

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• Degree in data science, computer science, engineering or related field
• Minimum 10 years data, analytics and business insights experience. Minimum 3 years in Pharmaceutical or healthcare industry with knowledge of relevant datasets
• Expertise in standard methodologies in the areas of database design, data mining & analytics, data visualization (preferably Qliksense).
• Advanced knowledge of google tag manager, website tagging, search engine optimization (SEO), and search engine marketing (SEM). Knowledge of digital media buying ecosystem across programmatic, search and social
• Strong analytical reasoning abilities, intellectual curiosity, strong intuition for business, and creativity in problem solving
• Excellent communication and presentation, including the ability to explain technical concepts in meaningful terms to non-technical people
• Ability to work within and contribute to a diverse & impactful workforce. Previous management experience preferred or strong proficiency
• Digital health and software development experience strongly valued
