Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to

• Support CTS transformation program, which includes-Designing /re-designing new processes using various lean six sigma, agile, design thinking techniques. Defining, refining and improving services for various domains like Finance, IT, Procurement. HR etc. Mapping new processes in BPM tools like Nimbus / Adonis etc.

• Optimizing various processes by organizing various workshops along with business operations, IT and SME`s. Support driving change in a heavily networked environment. follow Novartis project methodology to ensure standardization in implementation. The role may require regular travel to Novartis locations where on-site project delivery is required for internal project stakeholders. On average 10% - 20 %, travel may be required.

• Commercial / Operation / Specific Finance field / Data & Analytics). Hands on experience in improving specific domain process (ex : for commercial improving cash-flow , digitalization of supplier-to-customer CapEx management etc). Supported organization transformation by redesigning workflows and interactions with Domain teams. Have worked with cross functional team (SME`s, Solution Design, Process Modelers, Country leads etc) in earlier projects. Redesigned processes around customer requirements and redefined compliance standards with suppliers. S4 Hanna- A function technical role with fair understanding in various aspects of S4 Hana. Hands on experience in ERP/SAP transformation & implementation. Extensive experience global development projects & rollouts, leading data workstreams in large scale ERP, systems implementations and/or large-scale global business implementation

• Large Transformation Program-Hands on experience in multi year and multi domain large transformation project ( > $ 100 MM) Experience includes- Capturing the business and user requirements, performing fit-gap workshops in the area of the assigned work package, identify critical integration points and dependencies, propose solutions for key gaps, provide effort estimations and alignment with business teams. Designing new processes, operating models and new ways of working using LEAN or other process designing methodology. Improving and sustaining standardization efficient while respecting regulatory/control requirements (e.g., NFCM-control requirements, P3, TPRM, GxP). Supporting implementation of the proposed changes in core systems

• Digital Tools & Transformation experience-including ML / AI, BlackLine, Ariba, Celonis, Python, Experience on the next generation tools (AI & ML based tools) supporting the core processes of Commercial OR Operation OR Finance, Experience in identifying the right cognitive technology (e.g. AI, ML) and identify the right use cases for implementation, Working with IT and technology group to implement the tools with Core ERP system.

• Contributing to the development / success of projects teams, supporting problem-solving with internal Novartis project stakeholders to solutions that drive value, supporting opportunities by building internal networks beyond project stakeholders, developing trustworthy relationships, and ensuring these are nurtured and maintained. Supporting opportunity growth through thought leadership, internal Novartis relationships activities, proposals and proposition development. Consulting delivery-Playing a key role in delivering large scale projects with a strong focus on successful outcome delivery. Acting as a safe pair of hands in project delivery, as part of a wider team or alone as a part of building new strategic opportunities, Playing a key role in providing a positive internal Novartis stakeholders’ delivery experience and feedback.

• Contribution to Service Group-Playing a key role in key initiatives that enables the internal consulting team to grow and develop sustainably. Supporting the internal consulting team strategy implementation with the development of a particular method, capability or solution area. Playing a key role in the internal consulting team growth by supporting recruitment efforts and acting as buddy to new team members. Capability development-Demonstrating a strong level of competence in at least one of the chosen area (Operating Model design, Operational Excellence, Program / Project Management, Change Management, and Data and Digital). May also be seen as a good all-rounder, with strong capability for operating across multi-functional business change environments. Building consulting excellence foundations by contributing to the development of new skills related to at least one of the chosen area (Operating Model design, Operational Excellence, Program / Project Management, Change Management, and Data and Digital)

• Ensuring consistent value and quality of delivery by sharing knowledge and successful practice with team members and across Novartis. Building professional skills, core capability/delivery skills, opportunity development and/or leadership capabilities
