Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to

• Support CTS transformation program, which includes, designing /re-designing new processes using various lean six sigma techniques. Mapping new processes in BPM tools like Nimbus / Adonis etc.

• Support optimizing various processes by organizing various workshops along with business operations, IT and SME`s. Supporting Leads and Principals in defining, designing, and embedding services and process excellence in various domains like Finance, Procurement, IT, HR etc. Support driving change in a heavily networked environment. Follow Novartis project methodology to ensure standardization in implementation.

• The role may require regular travel to Novartis locations where on-site project delivery is required for internal project stakeholders. On average 10 % - 20 % travel may be required.

• Contributing to the development / success of projects teams. supporting problem-solving with internal Novartis project stakeholders to solutions that drive value. Supporting opportunities by building internal networks beyond project stakeholders, developing trustworthy relationships, and ensuring these are nurtured and maintained. Supporting opportunity growth through thought leadership, internal Novartis relationships activities, proposals and proposition development

• Consulting delivery-Supporting the delivery of large-scale projects with a strong focus on successful outcome delivery. Operating as part of a wider team or alone as a part of building new strategic opportunities. Playing a key role in providing a positive internal Novartis stakeholders’ delivery experience and feedback

• Contribution to Service Group-Contributing to key initiatives that enables the internal consulting team to grow and develop sustainably. supporting the internal consulting team strategy implementation with the development of a particular method, capability or solution area. Supporting internal consulting team growth by supporting recruitment efforts and acting as buddy to new team members

• Capability development-Demonstrating strong foundations in at least one of the chosen area (Operating Model design, Operational Excellence, Program / Project Management, Change Management, and Data and Digital) . Supporting consulting excellence foundations by contributing to the development of new skills related to at least one of the chosen area (Operating Model design, Operational Excellence, Program / Project Management, Change Management, and Data and Digital)

• Sharing knowledge and successful practice with team members and across Novartis. Building professional skills in core capability/delivery skills

Minimum Requirements


• Minimum Education: Graduate degree in technical, scientific or business discipline. preferred Sector experience: Management consulting, Outsourcing, Post-merger integration, Technology, Manufacturing, Financial Services, Pharma / Biosciences background

• Minimum: English (Proficient, verbal and written) Preferred: a second major European language

• Partner mind-set with a 3-5 years' experience delivering value in leading organizations, across change and /or process improvement projects and programs in a Top 5 consulting firm or in a large corporate environment

• Demonstrated analytical, process-oriented and data driven mindset - A proven ability to operate within multi-functional business change environments. demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills as well as solid presentation skills

• Successful track record in application of consulting tools and solutions in solving complex business problems, related to at least one of the chosen areas (Operating Model design, Operational Excellence, Program / Project Management, implementation support of enterprise tools like Salesforce, Workday, SAP etc., Change Management, and Data and Digital)

• Understanding of end-to-end project lifecycles including planning and all elements of project execution. Able to challenge, in an appropriate way, senior stakeholders across the organizations

• Experience working abroad and in an international environment
