In this position, the associate will set the strategic direction for data-driven and disease-focused decision support and forecasting. Areas of direct responsibility include implementation and management of global business analytics and forecasting for oncology indications, particularly those involved in our Cell & Gene platform. The role will report to the Head of Global Oncology Business Analytics.

This opportunity is located at the Novartis East Hanover site, and will not have the ability to be located remotely

What will you be responsible for.
•Act as the subject matter expert for all relevant oncology brand analytics and epidemiology. Provide analytical thought leadership to proactively identify emerging market dynamics and trends to global franchise and brand leadership by synthesizing multiple analyses and data sources.
•Support the annual strategic planning forecast process, including development of global forecast models, assumption guidance, country webcast & training, and other associated activities.
•Support the Cell & Gene brand and New Product teams in developing the Disease Area Strategy forecast for pipeline products
•Provide strategic guidance to regions and countries in leveraging best-in-class analytical tools to inform critical business decisions. Help disseminate and drive adoption of global data and digital initiatives (e.g., OneGo, OneView, OneForecast).
•Work collaboratively with the extended Global Analytics and Finance team, as well as other cross functional partners, to ensure market insights are integrated into forecasts and to support the presentation of results/recommendations for a global audience that includes senior management

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
•Minimum 7 years of experience in Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry or consulting environment
•Bachelor’s degree in Science/Business/Statistics/Engineering or related field
•Knowledge of “big data” analytics
•Country-level brand analytics and forecast experience
•Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal direction
•Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
•Effective team building/consulting skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
•Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
•Oncology experience strongly preferred
•Master’s degree strongly preferred
•Familiarity with data visualization techniques
