Job Purpose

In the US, 15M patients are diagnosed with ASCVD and have above-target LDL-C goal despite the availability of multiple treatment options.

The Cardiovascular Renal Metabolic Franchise has a rich history and promising future in launching new brands. We are looking for a highly innovative individual who will play an important role in helping improve the lives of patients. The Associate Director provides operational support to the Regional Marketing Team in achievement of the team’s goals and launch excellence. This position will require travel up to 25%, including overnight. This position will be located at East Hanover, New Jersey HQ, only local candidates will be considered at this time.

Responsibilities:
• Lead elements of national initiatives on specific projects in alignment with both marketing and sales leadership
• Work with the HQ Cross Functional Team to provide a POV on Key National Projects (Launch Programs, Peer-Peer Speaker Programs, Congresses)
• Lead and drive highly visible strategic projects, analyze opportunities and develop solutions and actionable recommendations
• Drive operational cadence for the Regional Marketing Team, measure and track critical KPIs and initiatives and present to executive leadership
• Unlock areas within the business to drive performance improvement for efficiency and accelerate execution
• Lead interactions with other cross-functional partner groups including sales, insights and analytics, training, and IT building consensus/agreement among these teams and function as the strategy and operations lead on peer to peer projects
• Ensure effective deployment and tracking of various business critical initiatives in support of departmental annual objectives.
• Lead in creation and management of peer to peer functional dashboards and critical metrics
• Build, implement and adjust departmental processes with an eye towards innovation and operational excellence using insights from internal customer groups.
• Co-lead planning, execution and budget management of operational initiatives
• Deliver value through operational excellence, building internal capabilities and effective project management with a focus on cross-functional coordination.

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred
• Minimum 5 years’ marketing experience within the pharma/biotech industry is required
• Minimum 5 years’ of sales experience is preferred
• Proficient at uncovering customer based insights and leveraging this knowledge to develop regional programs
• Proven accomplishment in identifying and utilizing/driving strategic approach to business/functional area, particularly in field sales organizations
• Consistent track record of previous commercial/sales experience success
• Strong analytical problem solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast paced environment, show attention to detail and follow through to completion.
